Microsoft Flight Simulator

(Microsoft Flight Simulator X)

Microsoft Flight Simulator

Its a program that re-creates the aircraft flight, environment and experience.
It used for pilot training purpose, design, or other purposes.
It can also used for improvement purposes by senior pilot
Also Normal gamers are able to play this simulator as a challenging game.
It is also used to recreate a flight disaster to find out how the particular disaster
happen.
It is also used to identify certain aircraft will reach and its limit in a harsh
weather, air density, turbulence, wind shear, cloud, precipitation
Usually used in Airport, Airline Pilot training centre, and military training and for

Advantages of Flight Simulator

Helps to improve and gain more flying experiences
Trains all new pilot before getting them into actual real flight
Provides real flight experience
Able to recognize how a certain flight disaster happened by recreating disaster
Able identify certain flight component failures
Allows everyone to fly and train themselves and getting knowledges in flying
aircrafts.
Allow to identify certain limits of aircraft components in different situtation.
Allows pilots to train on action that can perform in emergency situations.

Disadvantages of Flight Simulator

Misuse of flight simulators, Allows the terrorists/anti-governments to train
themselves using simulators to fly and hijack aircrafts. (Example, World Trade
Centre New York Twin Tower terrorist attack, 2001 September 11)

Tutorial 5-6

1 Importance of studying NLP

It is important to study NLP to learn how to communicate with computer based on
its language rather than forcing to make it learn something new. Usually
information that are used to recorded into the computer via natural language. This
information can be govt. reports, scientific reports etc. As a result it is required to
process this kinds of informations using the process of natural language. Many
problem seems to be arise in AI can be solved using NLP.

2 Syntactic Analysis:
Syntactic analysis is the process of analyzing a string of symbols, either in natural
language or in computer languages, conforming to the rules of a formal grammar. The
term parsing comes from Latin pars (orations), meaning part (of speech).

Semantic:
It is concerned with the meaning of words and how to combine words into meaningful
phrases and sentences.

Pragmatic:
It deals with using and understanding sentences in different situations and how the
interpretation of the sentence is affected.

Ans: 3 Lemma:
Is a process of grouping together the different inflected words. Inflection is the
modification of word to express grammatical categories e.g: tense, mood, voice, aspect
and case. e.g search engine and identify mom, mummy -> mother, dad -> father
Walk -> walked,walks,walking

Stem:
To crude heuristic process that chops off the ends of words in hope achieve the goal of
meaning correctly.

Ans: 4 Differences:
Model:
A model is a product (physical or digital) that represents a system of interest. A model is
similar to but simpler than the system it represents, while approximating most of the same
salient features of the real system as close as possible.
Simulation:
A simulation is the process of using a model to study the behavior and performance of an
actual or theoretical system. In a simulation, models can be used to study existing or
proposed characteristics of a system. The purpose of a simulation is to study the
characteristics of a real-life or fictional system by manipulating variables that cannot be
controlled in a real system.
