Works with high-temperature
COD gage.

The MTS model 652.02 hightemperature furnace is designed

for low-cycle fatigue, fatigue crack
growth, and fracture toughness
testing at temperatures from 200 C
up to 1000 C.
The furnace will accommodate lowcycle fatigue specimens from 115
mm up to 150 mm long and compact
tension specimens up to 25 mm
thick (W50 mm). The furnace is
configured with two independent
heating zones to improve the temperature gradient across the test
specimen. A viewing window is

available to monitor the specimen

during the test. Load frame mounting
brackets are available for a variety
of MTS and non-MTS load frames.
The furnace comes complete with
two Type K thermocouples, a twozone MTS digital PID Temperature
Control System, and the mounting
bracket.
The furnace is designed to accommodate the MTS model 632.53 hightemperature axial extensometer and
model 632.65 high-temperature COD
gage. High-temperature clevis grips
for CT specimens are also available.
