Many residents have asked how Mayor Migliorinis proposed change to the Macedonia income tax credit reducing

it to 50%
of what you have already paid to another municipality will affect them. We are providing a simplified table below so that
you can understand the effect. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT YOUR TAXES INCREASE.
If you are a Macedonia resident (and any other family member in your household) working in another municipality that has
a 2% income tax (the most common income tax level), you will owe additional taxes to Macedonia. Essentially your total
municipal income taxes owed will be increased by 50%:
