Prepare the land for sowing. Recommended varieties- CO86032 (Nira), CO-94012 (Savitri), CO M-0265 (Phule-265).
Seed treatment- Dip the seeds in the mixture of 100 gm Bavistin +
300 ml Malathion + 100 lit. water for 10 minutes. After that, dip
the seeds in the mixture of 10 kg Acetobactor + 100 lit. water for
30 minutes. Apply 25 kg N (54 kg Urea), 60 kg P (375 kg

If there is attack of pod borer on Gram, spray Quinolfos 25
EC 20 ml/ 10 lit. For bio-control, spray 5% neem extract.
After 10-15 days, spray 500 ml Heliokil + 500 lit. water / ha.
Apply 60 kg N after 21 days of sowing. Irrigation should be
done after every 18-21days.
For the control of Thrips and Blight, spray Carbosulphan 10
ml or Deltamethrin 5 ml or Chlorothalonil 25 gm + sticker 10
ml / 10 lit water using knapsack spray pump.
For the control of plum moth, spray the mixture of bacillus
uringencis (BT) 10 gm / 10 lit water in the evening. Spray
4% neem extract for second time. And if needed, third spray
should be of Indoxacarb 10 ml or Spinosad 2.5 S.C. 10 ml /
10 lit water.
