Oral Presentation:

on an aspect of Oppression and Privilege.

Criteria for Visual Presentation (PowerPoint, Blog, Vlog, Youtube video,
PhotoVoice, Storyboard, Animation, Prezi, Narrative):
1. Must be minimum 3 minutes, maximum 4 minutes per person
2. Must include pictures
3. Must NOT contain full sentences on slides. (you should not be reading
what you have written)
4. Include an Introduction, Details (i.e. body) and Conclusion
5. Must explain the relevance and impact of this form of oppression. What
steps do you need to take to change this? How has it impacted you or people
around you? How does it make you feel? What have been the results?
6. Must include resource/bibliography page
Criteria for Speaking:
1. Speak fluidly (without hesitation)
2. Proper grammar (past tense, future tense, etc)
3. Proper vocabulary (particular words related to your subject)
Evaluation
You will be evaluated on the following:
Creativity/Effort - is it evident that you put effort into this project?
Aesthetics is it nice to look at? Includes pictures and colours?
Written English - Did you only use English words and phrases or are there Frenchisms?
Oral Fluidity Did you hesitate while speaking? Use French words? Do you say ummm,
hmmm a lot?

Grammar - Did you use proper grammar in the written and oral?

Vocabulary Did you use the proper vocabulary for your subject? Did you use only simple
words or more complex words?
Flow of content - Did you jump around a lot, or did one thing lead into another? Does it
make sense?
Time - Did you abide by the time (3-4min)
Citation Did you include a resource page? Did you use quotations? Did you cite where
your pictures came from?
Relevance and understating of subject Do you explain what is oppression or
aspects of it? Show examples?

me prior)

4. Must pass in a printed version of lyrics/poem
5. Must include resource/bibliography page
