Looking Back on Moses: The Man

Ok, here we go! Ready for the Ultimate Journey through the eyes of Moses? I
hope so! We want to make our group meetings as personal as possible.
Perhaps after some crowd breaker and opening prayer, you could follow with
these two initial questions.

What have you learned about or from Moses that has surprised
you, impressed you, or caused you some deeper thoughts?

Have you had any personal life flash backs or questions that you
are starting to ask yourself as a result of your exposure to Moses
life so far?

You can also reflect on the quotes in the Looking Back Bible Study Guide and get
feedback.
How about a little test on the Ultimate Journey? What are some of the phases?
Finally, the questions at the end of the BS Guide could also be used to facilitate
closing discussion.

Moses: The Ultimate Journey
The Man
Exodus 2:22
Moses: The Man. Boy, was he ever. More than even he knew. At age 40 he
begins to realize that his life is out of control. He has to come to terms with
who he really is. I am a sojourner in a foreign land. Exodus 2:22. Why would he
name his first born son that? You might want to notice that his wife had
introduced him to her father as an Egyptian! 2:19 Talk about an identity crises!

Thinking It Through (agree/disagree consider/contemplate)

Many of us decided in childhood that the best way to meet our needs was to
eliminate our needs. Of course denying our needs doesnt make them
disappear. Child-size solutions never fit adult-size problems.
