7:30 8:15: Morning work + one page of their problem solving

8:15 8:20: Students sit on the perimeter of the carpet; take
attendance and discuss with them what theyll be doing at the
word work station; pass out pencils and explain they must all be
returned at the end of the day
8:20 10:15: Station rotations; (all rotations are 25 minutes long,
except the 3rd rotation is 30 minutes). Guided Reading: the
students will go to the back round table with their book boxes.
Follow plans for group 2 (first rotation; all other groups will read
from their book boxes and re-tell a story. Independent Reading:
students will go to Ms. Doyle at the guided reading table and
follow her plans. I-Station: students will go on the computers
onto the i-station program. Word Work:

the students on the projector/whiteboard. They go back to their
desks and complete the first page. Students must get their work
checked on the first page before moving onto the next page.
Circulate around the room to help as needed a small group may
have to be pulled for differentiation.

12:55: Stack and pack. Students will stack their chairs, clean their
desks and under the floor, check their mailboxes and color in the
box for the day.
1:05: walk students to their appropriate spot for dismissal. The
list is found on the clipboard on the desk where all students are
supposed to go. Make sure to give students a high-five and check
their name off as you say goodbye

12:15 12:45: Walk to Success; students will walk to their walk to
success group.
12:45 1:30: Math; Lesson 8.3 Subtract Tens (pages 325
328). call students to sit on their carpet spot. Model a few for the
