Victims by Perpetrator Relationship, 2007

This table illustrates the relationship of a victim's perpetrator. The first column lists the relationship, which is broken out
into two categories of parent and nonparent. The next column lists the number of victims, and the final column lists the
percentage. Nearly 40 percent (38.7%) of child victims were maltreated by their mothers acting alone.
