Ms. Rislings illustrations and paintings have represented California Indian


country for many years, serving as educational tools for cultural and language programs, health clinics and other special events. Her drawings portray local tribal homelands of the Karuk, Yurok and Hupa of northern California. Ms.Tripp is a writer, an artist,
a member of the Karuk tribe and a graduate of U.C. Berkeleys Native Studies Program.
She lives in her familys ancestral territory in northwestern California.
