Rosalinda Duarte is an outstanding student, which I have had the distinct opportunity to get to know over the last
three years. As a counselor at Sanger High Schooi, I have had the privilege of working with Rosalinda as she
pursues higher education. Since the first time I met Rosalinda, she left an unforgettable impression on me. What
knew back then has only been reaffirmed three years later, a student who supersedes in comparison to the many
students I've encountered in my career.

Rosalinda is an exceptional student that has always surpassed expectations. As her counselor I have observed her
mature into a dependable hardworking and goal oriented individual. She is truly an inspirational role model and
leader to other students. She is an exceptional young woman, who seeks to set an example of humility and respect.
I have been impressed by Rosalinda's ability to juggle her academic schedule with her extracurricular activities. Over
the last four years, Rosalinda has prided herself on a quest for excellence and has accepted the challenges she has
encountered through her high school years and overcome them by being self-sufficient and a persistent academic
scholar. Rosalinda is a genuine individual with a bright future ahead of her. Rosalinda's schedule is of demand. As a
senior, Rosalinda has posted a 3.5 overall GPA. As a 2009 California Distinguished School, Sanger High School
prides itself on maintaining high standards and developing a culture of inspired students that will have a lasting
impact on society. Our teachers are amongst the best in the country. Our courses challenge our students to think
creatively, value world perspectives, and build bridges between possibility and reality.

Rosalinda is highly motivated and a leader by example. She has taken every opportunity to make her high school
experience both enjoyable and rewarding. Not only does she excel academically, but also she has demonstrated
outstanding school involvement. Rosalinda has been a part of the California Scholarship Foundation and anticipates
receiving lifetime membership this fall. She has also been involved in home coming activities and has volunteered
countless hours at Children's Hospital along with being a participant in the Fresno's Survivors of Suicide Loss Walk
this year.
On a personal level, my interaction with Rosalinda has been very positive. She is very respectful, polite, and
demonstrates great character. She is a hardworking student dedicated to her studies and her future career goals.
