1. Must have energetic tone.
2. Must connect with the audience.
3. Must be emotive.
4. Must remember his story so it is not being read to the audience.
5. Must have eye contact to his audience.
6. Must make the audience visualize his story.
7. Must draw his listeners into the story.
8. Must have a story with some kind of conflict.
9. Must stay on topic with his original story.
10.
Must take his time in telling the story so the audience gets a
clear picture of what the storyteller is trying to portray.
10 Qualities of a bad storyteller:
1. Has a dull, flat tone that is monotonous and boring.
2. Has no connection with the audience.
3. Shows no emotions while telling the story.
4. Someone who reads their story instead of telling it.
5. Tells a story with no conflict to resolve.
6. Doesn't stay on topic, and loses the order of events in the story.
7. Doesn't use transitions while telling the story.
8. Doesn't describe the story visually to the audience.
9. Doesn't draw his listeners to the plot of the story.
10.
Speaks too fast while telling the story.
