Dear Mr. Buracyk,
‘tthe request ofthe Governor of the State of New Mexico, the Texas Department of Transportation TXDOT) is
formally requesting the work that was scheduled for March 20, 2016 i to Be advanced to March 18, 2016 tor
the same time frame, from 3:00AM to 3:00PM. While T3DOT believes that the origina schedule wil result in
less overall disruption to travel, we support the request of the Governor of New Mexico and will co what is
necessary to support El Paso Electric's installation of new transmission lines. We understand the need to
complete thi operation at this time because ofthe level of demand.
1 may be dificult to obtain adequate Law Enforcement personnel fr this change at ths late date; however,
‘TOOT wal supplement law enforcement with its own personnel to support the project. The decson is up to
EPEC; however, we do need to get the word out tothe public a soon as posible.
