When observing Mr. Zachmans classes, all components of an effective lesson are evident. Objectives are posted and
Comment discussed with students; warm up is used, follow by a review of previous learning, before moving on to the lesson at hand. The
lesson pace is consistent and appropriate time is provided for each activity. Instruction is presented in clear and concise
manner to allow students to understand expectations. While teaching new concepts Mr. Zachman is responsive towards
students needs by answering questions and instructional adjustments when best. Students are provided deeper
understanding of material through teacher led discussion and questioning to check for understanding. Students were given
ample time to complete assigned activities and clear expectations of the final outcome. The instructor shall continue using
techniques as presented from the book, Teach like a Champion and including technology as appropriate.
