Human beings have always cut down trees. Wood has historically been the most
dominant form of heating fuel, as well as one of the most often used building materials for
houses and ships. 25% of the world's lumber harvest now goes towards paper production.
Nevertheless, deforestation is a very big and important environmental problem which is yet to be
effectively addressed.
Deforestation is the clearing, destroying, or removal of the trees. For an example, on one
study shows that, deforestation is the impact on the global carbon cycle. Gas molecules that
absorb thermal infrared radiation are called greenhouse gases. If greenhouse gases are in large
enough quantity, they can force climate change. ( Michael Daley, March 4 2015). This means
that the greenhouses can cause climate change. In addition, deforestation is basically the main
cause of climate change.. According to another source, deforestation is the main problem in the
amazon caused by people cutting trees and global CO2 emissions. Carbon up in trees and soils,
they could slow the growth of global CO2 emissions and buy the world some time to solve the
thornier problem of curbing emissions from cars, power plants and industrial facilities. ( Jeff
Tollerson, April 1 2015) This reveals that deforestation is mostly caused by people. Furthermore,
The main causes of deforestation are excessive logging, slash and burn agriculture, cattle
raising and harvesting for fuel. For an example, deforestation is to make more land available for

This shows that the main cause of deforestation is for human purposes and agriculture. Also, it
shows that people is the main cause of the destruction of rainforest. According to another source,

deforestation is caused by increase of agriculture, increase of soybeans, and increase of homes.

Deforestation can impact the environment. Deforestation can impact the environment by
the loss of animals and species that may live in these rainforests and the lost of oxygen. This can
also cause soil erosion and flooding. For an example, one research shows that, Further effects of
deforestation include soil erosion and coastal flooding. (Pachamama Alliance). Another
resource is deforestation endangers the living animals in the environment on a youtube video.

the environment.
Deforestation can impact to global or local communities greatly. For an example,
deforestation can impact cattle ranching, spread diseases, increase erosion, killing animals,
destroying medicine plants, and tree lost. One research says that, As the effects of climate
change are felt across the globe, Earth-conscious innovators pursue a list of technological
wonders to offset our species' carbon footprint: geoengineering, alternative energy, hybrid
vehicles, etc (Rick Docksai, January 6, 2013) This can impact global and local communities
because of the harm to the people.
Some current solutions, coming from an article, is to recycle paper. Recycling paper can
reduce the amount of tree loss. According to one resource, One of these is possibly the most
obvious for reversing the effects. And that is reforestation. (Deforestation campain). Also, you
should buy recycled products in order to stop buying stuff that evolves the loss of trees. Lastly,
you need to think before you print. Thinking before you print can reduce the number of trees
because where paper comes form is mainly from trees. Recycling paper can save 17 trees a day.

There are some new solutions about deforestation. There is not really some but some of
them would be planting more trees, control global warming, and sopping flooding. Planting more
trees can help increase the number of trees instead of the number of tree loss. Controlling global
warming can help the environment by less tree cutting. One research says that trees stores carbon
dioxide in the trees, so when the trees get cut down, CO2 gets released into the air and cause the
climate to change such as temperature. Lastly, Stopping flooding can be a bad thing for the trees.
The reason why is because over flooding can drown trees and make the soil softer. These are
some things that you can prevent.
In conclusion, the horrible effects of deforestation can be unpleasant. Deforestation can
cause climate change which is our main problem today. Also, deforestation can cause soil erosion
and scaring animals away from their homes, the rainforest. Lastly, deforestation is mainly caused
by us, disgusting and wasteful people.
