Charge Nurse Shadowing Experience

Learning Activity
Summary

The graduate nurse will have the opportunity to shadow a


charge nurse on their clinical medical-surgical unit for 6 hours.
The student will then provide a one page journal entry on what
they learned within the role of the charge nurse. After the
student has submitted their reflective journal article they will
share their individual experience with their peers and how they
learned from this opportunity.
