Steering success to full ahead has ignited my aspiration since this is the

profession I choose to live. This line is significant for ne as a future seafarer

someday. Just like a sea going-vessel I should steer my course to its right track to
get on my destination.
I am Mdpn. Mico B. Apatino, 19 years old a native of Palawan. Despite the
distance of our place to John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University, still I choose
this course because of dream to be a successful Master mariner someday.
Im a kind of a person who has perseverance and discipline in life. Whenever
a hard situation arises I acted as an optimistic person so that I would be able to
overcome the difficulty. Discipline because as stated in the philosophy of our school
that Progress is best attained only when on has achieved discipline as a way of
life, I consider it is the most important value that I should have.
It has been my ambition since I was in the elementary to be a seafarer. I
dream to go around the world and visit different places. I have just seen in the
pictures and movies observed life and culture of other nations while at the same
time earning a satisfactory income. These aspects will improve my personality to be
a better person.
With Gods Blessings I hope this ambition would be realize for me to be able
to help my parents and start a happy family of my own with a loving, responsible
wife and disciplined children who will constitute a happy, successful and a fruitful
family life.
