DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF COMMERCIAL

One of the major problem that the country facing is the rapidly growing
population, which necessities more facilities in the restricted availability of
land. This can be solved to certain extent with the construction of framed
structures, which can serve many people in a available limited area. Hence,
it is the necessary requirement of framed structures with all facilities.
The educational institutions, hospitals which comes under commercial
buildings, and also the Residential buildings are designed by using Limit
state method, and the loads are calculated According to IS 456:2000, and IS
875:1984 is used for the design of beams, columns, footings, slabs and
structural design. Building frames may be analysed by using KANIs
method and for cross checking the results we are proposed to use
STAAD.PRO.
Hence an attempt is made in this project of designing a framed structure
including all the materials which were mentioned above by providing loads
and performing their calculations.
