1. Teacher modeling the first two days is good. 2. I like the building off of main idea/supporting details in order to write
summaries. 3. Checklist idea is great.

1. I might make more opportunities for collaborative practice before assigning it as individual practice. There is great
teacher modeling and some whole group practice, but then it seems to go straight to independent practice. Is there a
way to have partners collaborate first? 2. That's all I can come up with, except maybe differentiating the Readworks
passages for higher level thinkers.
