Rule of thirds
The basis behind the rule of thirds is to envision splitting an
image into thirds so that you have 9 parts like a grid. This
theory states that an image is most favorable when the subject
is placed within or very close to an intersection line because it
tends to attract the audiences attention to that specific
region. This method of filming shots is effective because it
allows the subject to stand out of the picture/shot and be more
easily visible towards the audience.
