Set up the sensory area for the children to either paint using the table or the easel.
Allow the children time to express themselves.

As the children are painting you can have music playing for help with expression.
Talk to the children and see what they are thinking about allow them to tell you
how they feel about their painting. Do not push you views on them or suggest
what they are painting.
What are you painting?
How does the paint feel?
What colors are you using?

More Ideas

Provide other things to paint with if you have a child that doesnt like painting with
hands or has a sensory dysfunction.
