HavestudentstakeouttheirPlickerscardsforawarmup/reviewactivity.Thisactivitywill
determinewhichstudentsneedtobepulledforextrahelpthroughoutflextimeinpreparationfor
thetestonTuesday.

b. Salute
2. Explainthethirdgame(NumberBonds)tostudentsandreviewIPaduse.
3. Assignstudentsintogroups(basedonmathlevels).
4. Haveeachgroupbegintheiractivitiesforabout710minutesdependingontime.
5. Rotatesoeachgroupgetsachanceateachactivity.
6. IfstudentsstruggledwiththePlickersquizthenpullthemasidetohelpbuildtheir
knowledgeorevenpartnerwiththischildtohelpfostergrowththroughoutthegames.
7. Callstudentsbacktorug.
1.5Differentiation
Iwillplacestudentsintospecificgroupsbasedontheirlevelsandabilitiestoensureeachchildis
gettingthemostoutofthegames.
IwillworkwithanystudentsoneononeorinasmallgroupifIdeterminethattheyneedthe
additionalsupportthroughouttheflextime.
Thegamescanbedifferentiatedtoeasierorharderlevelsbasedonthegroupofstudentsplaying
atthetime.

1.6Closure
Studentswillreturntotherug.Theteacherwillreviewafewoftheconceptsthatmayhavebeen
trickyfromtheplickersquiz(ifany).
1.7Formative/SummativeAssessmentofStudents
ThePlickersquizwillcollectdataonthestudentstodeterminewhoneedsadditionalscaffolding.
Theteacherwillobservestudentsthroughoutthegametimestoensureeveryoneisgettingthe
mostoutoftheirlearning.
AunittestwillbegivenonTuesdayconcerningtheseconcepts.
