Genesis
Gen 1: 24: Creation of human beings in the image and likeness of God (blessing for all).
Gen 2, 4- 3, 24 - Second creation story considers Adam and eve as historical persons
The Semitic traditions are: the Jewish tradition they believe in a personal God who
establishes a covenantal relationship with human beings (gen 9: 9- 11).
The Jews too believe in a personal God who establishes a covenantal relationship with all
humans (Gen 9:9).
The Patriarchs built altars in Canaan (Gen 12, 7f; 13, 18; 26, 25) and offered sacrifices (Gen 22;
31, 54; 46, 1).
Gen 12, 1-3 God tells Abraham that in him all families will be blessed.
Gen 18: Three men came to visit to Abraham ... blessed them with the child etc
Gen 17, 9-10 - Relationship of Intimacy with some individuals like - Abraham Gen

Exodus
Ex 4: 22-23a. The expressions `Israel is my first Son', `let my Son go' show for the first time

Jn 1:1-18 says no one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son who has made him
known. Therefore this text clearly shows the Trinity understanding of God as revealed by

Rom 16:26 talks about the obedience of faith.. the answer is we respond through the
obedience of faith.

Gal. 5:22 ff --To the extent we move from flesh to the spirit, we will have the fruit of the Spirit

Ephesians
Eph 1,19: It pleaed God , in his goodness and wisdom to reveal the mystery of his will
through Jesus Christ.
Eph 2, 8-10: By grace you have been saved through faith and it is not your own doing but
its the gift of God.
A gratuitous gift of God means without any condition we dont merit it as Eph 2, 8-10
says
Eph 2:18 which says, For through him both of us have access in one Spirit to the Father
Eph 4, 4-6: above all (Father), through all (Son), in all (Spirit).

(1 Tim 6:16). - Human beings are a bundle of possibilities seeking "the Beyond"- God,
though no one has ever seen God ...

2 Tim 3, 16-17: all scripture is inspired by God; and is useful for teaching, for reproof
for correction, and for training in righteousness.
Letter to Hebrews
The Scripture says the living God has been disclose of us in varied times and nowhere more
fully than in Jesus Christ (Heb 1: 1ff).
Heb 5, 1-4- He is the mediator between God and humankind. He offers sacrifice for the sins
of humans he is appointed by God to this office. By a line of reasoning using the figure of
Melchizedek
Heb 9/ 12 : he entered once and for all to the holy place, not with the blood of goats and calves
but with his own blood thus obtaining eternal redemption.
Heb 9, 25 26 :
Nor was it to offer himself again and again, as the High Priest enters year after year with
the blood that is not his own, for then he would have to suffer again and again, since the
foundation of the world. But as it is he has appeared once and for all at the end of the age
to remove sin by the sacrifice of himself.
(Heb 13:15) As baptized Christians we share in one priesthood of Jesus Christ which also means
the triple function of priesthood (LG 34-36).

Peters Letters
1 Pet 2: 9 says, You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Gods
own people
Priesthood of the faithful is explicitly stated in the first epistle of Peter and in
Revelation. They attribute to Christian people the royal priesthood of Israel (1 Pet 2:
5&9;
2 Pet 3, 15-16 this refers to the Pauline corpus as being on par with the Jewish scriptures.
Revelations
