Julie does a great job researching and selecting activities that are relevant and interesting for students. She makes adjustments and modifications to
activities to meet our objectives. I'm very pleased with the it's not all about the activity and that there is a critical thinking component in the form of a post lab
discussion, class discussion etc.

We are at a junction where Julie will be teaching 3 periods of earth and space science in addition to two periods of honors biology. It is evident she is very
comfortable and confident teaching biology topics and switching to earth and space can be challenging without being highly qualified. However, in preparing
to teach ES content she verbalized to me that she really knows more than she thought she did. To ease this transition we will be covering ecology topics in
both ES and biology.

Now that Julie is teaching all classes she will take over parent communication with my guidance and oversight.
General Comments
Julie has done an amazing job stepping up when I have been out of the classroom when planned or unplanned. Julie is way above the bar and for a young
woman she is professional, interacts well students and such. I feel very fortunate to have her working with me this semester.
