You will be taking the children on the path of repentance by visiting four separate areas in the Primary
room or other rooms. When you arrive at each area, discuss one of the steps: Admit, Be Sorry,
Confess, & Don’t do it again!
Have everyone return to the primary room and return to their seats. Tell the children, I will know that I
have truly repented if I: Admit, Be Sorry, Confess, and Don’t do it again. As you say each step of
repentance, point to the appropriate wordstrip. As you say each step remove each of the spots from
you or your helper. Show the children that when you repent we are made clean.
Bear your testimony to the children.
~A few months ago the 1st counselor in our Primary talked about Repentance. She told the children
that repentance is like an eraser, that if we repent our sins will be erased. You could hand some
pencils out with a little note(idea below) attached to help them remember the steps of repentance.
This is where you could use that cute handout idea from Paper Cakes and Icing!
The Quote I used for this handout came from http://papercakesandicing.blogspot.com

The ABC’s of
Repentance
1. Admit
2. Be Sorry
4. Don’t do it again!
We Believe that the first
principles and ordinances
of the Gospel are:
Second, Repentance;
Third, Baptism by
immersion for the
remission of sins;
Fourth, Laying on of
hands for the gift
of the holy Ghost.
