Dear Nurse Recruiter:

My name is Yujie Wang. I am pleased to learn that you have openings for New Grad RNs position.
As you can see from my resume, I will graduate and receive my bachelor degree in May 2016
from the College of Nursing at University of Arizona.

Through my clinical rotations, I have had the opportunity to work in several settings, including
telemetry, medical-surgical, critical care, trauma, oncology, and emergency. I recently completed
a 5-week preceptorship in a telemetry unit. My clinical experiences enabled me to develop strong
skills that prepare me well for the challenges of nursing. I have also developed my basic nursing
skills such as medication administration, time management, delegation, and team work. I plan to
begin my nursing career at your hospital, and am confident that I will continue to develop as a
nurse.

In addition to my nursing skills, I was able to manage my time effectively as nursing student
where I worked throughout the nursing program, participating in many volunteering events, and
involving in various clubs. My job experiences such as working as a pharmacy technician gave
me the opportunity to provide care to a diverse population and assisted me to developed strong
customer services. In additional, I am an active member of Student Nurses at the University of
Arizona (SNUA) and in a Arizona Health Sciences Library Advisory Committee, I have
participated several community service activities and fundraising events. I also had volunteered
in the community organization like Vincent de Paul and St. Marys Food Bank. Volunteering has
helped me gain invaluable leadership skills in addition to personal, ethical and moral insight,

which I utilize as the Board Director of Asian Pacific American Student Affairs: a club aimed to
develop an inclusive environment for the diverse student body.

This position would be a great opportunity to further enhance my nursing skills. I am a highly
motivated person that strives for excellence as represented in my core values. I also believe that
my skills and experience have prepared me well. I look forward to meeting you, and please do
not hesitate to contact me at (623)398-5139.

Sincerely,

Yujie Wang
