A) Trust in God
B) Psalm 56:2-5
Have mercy on me, God, for I am treated harshly;
Attackers press me all the day.
My foes treat me harshly all the day;
Yes, many are my attackers.
O Most High, when I am afraid,
In you I place my trust.
I praise the word of God;
I trust in God, I do not fear.
What can mere flesh do to me?
C) As humans, we all face adversity and hardships. Although the severity and magnitude of

the challenges we face differs from person to person, we all go through periods of time
where we lose hope, feel abandoned, and think that our enemies have control over us. It
is during these difficult times that it is the hardest to place our trust in God, but that is
exactly what we are called to do. When you feel like you are alone, and everyone is
against you, that simply isnt true. God is always close to you, the only reason he seems
to be distant is because we push him away ourselves. When you are at your lowest point
and feel as though you are defeated, put your trust in God. Believe that He will take care
of you, and He will always provide, no matter what.
D) God, when I lose all hope, show me you are there. When no one else stays to protect me,

You are always by my side. Help me to never forget that Your love and mercy never ends.
Give me the strength to place all my trust in You. Thank you for never leaving me and
caring for me unconditionally. When times are the hardest, help me to remember that my
relationship with You is the only thing that matters and give me the courage to walk
beside you, especially when my enemies outnumber me.
