provided resources for Emmaus House through His

are growing and maturing. They are receiving life skills,

Gerome and Jonathan are passionate about investing in
Emmaus House long term and approached me last summer with the idea of building our own facility. I entertained the idea with the same trepidation, prayer and concern I did when first faced with the need for Emmaus

will support this? All the same questions we all asked 3

years ago. And the same faith that was needed then is needed now to trust
that God will provide.

less fortunate than they and those who do not know the gospel. The vision
of the Kingdom work here is so much bigger than our 17 teenagers.
At least once a month Jillian or I are contacted by people working in Haiti
who are interested in replicating what we are doing at Emmaus House.
Several organizations around Haiti have visited us recently to learn what

we are doing and how we are doing it. Ours has become a trusted model
on transition homes and how to help Haitian youth. However, the infrastructure we have now is only temporary and will not last for years to come.
Your faithful support, the constant inquiring of other organizations, and
most of all the immense growth in our young people have proven how
much the work of Emmaus House is needed in Haiti. Now we want to
build a place that can service youth permanently for years to come.
The youth would never have come as far as they have without you and we

RECENT CHANGES IN LEADERSHIP

Recently we have undergone some extensive changes within our American leadership. Emmaus House has been tremendously
blessed with the past and current leaders guiding Emmaus House and keeping us focused on our mission. Our first President, Sam
Pace a minister of Northwest church of Christ in Westminster, CO, found it necessary to step down with the growing needs in his
congregation and so Emmaus House could continue its growth effectively. Our accountant, Rebecca Hoyt of Colorado, also felt the
growing demands of her family and felt it was time to step down. Thankfully, Nicki Goseland in Arkansas, stepped up to fulfill this vital
role. A new mailing address will be coming soon. We also used this opportunity to create an Executive Director, which serves as a

liaison between the staff and the board, and Tanya Pirtle is fulfilling that role. Weve also added three new board members from Arkansas to our board. To learn more, please visit our website and click on Leadership.
