WASHINGTON, D.C. VS. OMAHA

Washington, D.C.
Extremely livable (76)
Public transportation

Historic landmarks (its the

countrys capital!!)- lots of
local amenities
Need for SLP is high!
High Income per capita
Stable Housing Market

Omaha, Nebraska
Extremely Livable (77)
Driving around is the best
option, although not as
economically friendly
Decent amount of local
amenities
Need for SLP is lower
Moderate income per capita
Stable Housing Market

WHERE WOULD I WANT TO LIVE?!

REASONS:
Closer to my home in Fairfax, VA
Larger city (Im more of a city girl!)
Prefer public transportation than driving myself
(eco friendly and saves a lot of gas money)
Salary for SLP is a lot higher in DC and there would
be more room to move up in my field
Although cost of living is higher in D.C., I am close
enough to Maryland and Virginia that I can spend
my money frugally
