    Short Term Goals

    (six months to five years)

    To find a position in a hospital where I can become an experienced coder in outpatient


    coding than inpatient coding.
    To meet and exceed the minimum coding speed and accuracy expectations in both
    outpatient and inpatient coding.
    To work from home soon after I achieve the requirements to remote code.

    Long Term Goals


    (five to ten years)

    Ultimately, Id like to assume more management responsibilities.


    Complete my bachelor's degree in HIM while remote coding.
    Obtain a trainer or auditor position where I would be able to travel the country/world with
    my career.
