and an organized classroom environment.
o I have written numerous letters of recommendation for students to be
included in their college applications.
o In the 2014-2015 school year I also taught Economics/Personal Finance.
o I am an active member of a districtwide committee researching the possible
implementation of block scheduling.
o I am working on a revision of the Introduction to Law curriculum in
conjunction with another Humanities teacher and well as the Current History
curriculum

this workshop I had the opportunity to meet two amazing women authors
who have dedicated themselves to the education of young people on the
topics of The Holocaust and Genocide. One of which I have continued to
correspond with.
I had the opportunity to be a part of a workshop based on the book Teach
Like A Pirate, and was able to converse with the author Dave Burgess
through Skype.
I was asked to present at out districts professional development day, on
classroom management and organization.
I have been auditing online graduate courses in American History through
The Gilder Lehrman Institute of History. The focus of Gilder Lehrman is
literacy through history, and I have been able to institute many of the
pedagogical theories of education into my classroom.
I plan on continuing my education and working towards a Masters Degree in
American History
