Responsible Tourism Products and Corporate Social Responsibility Practices." Anatolia:

This article includes studies that have taken place on the concept of promoting the
integration of sustainable practices in the tourism industry. I can use this article to provide some
ethos to my promotion of tourism responsibility with the addition of scientific studies and
reports. Rather than just pitching an idea, I can provide assurance that my ideas are indeed
affective and successful.

This article provides an overview of the tourisms impact on society and the issues that
have arisen from it. Focusing specifically on the economic and social aspects of the topic, this
article describes how tourism can make or break a region. This is regardless of the natural and or
cultural resources the place may have. This is going to be the basis of the side of an argument
displaying the negative features of tourism. Rather than focusing on a specific area or location,
the article studies the way tourism impacts any location. It takes a look on the factors such as
transportation, labor, and natural resources regions have to offer. This is one of my favorite
sources because it does an excellent job of explaining exactly what tourism consists of and how
it can be negative to an area, despite what most people assume. I can use this information to
demonstrate what factors need to be included in tourism responsibilities.

Environmental Agendas?" Journal of Sustainable Tourism 19.3 (2011): 325-45. Print.
Here, the idea of environmental impacts that tourism offers are discussed. Rather than
from a higher official, these observations are through those of students whom are studying
hospitality. These students are located all over the world, therefore providing information about
several different environments as well. These studies focus on environmental issues, such as
climate change and local issues. It explains the ways students may have had to alter their
traveling behaviors in order to cope with these issues. The goal for this study was to reduce the
environmental impact being made by humans. Tourists are often ignorant to the issues of the
regions they are traveling to.
Main ideas also include all the parts that make up the concept of tourism. The American way as
well as the English way of handling this situation is included, which are complete opposites of
each other. I'm glad this portion is discussed because it gives a different viewpoint of how this
operation needs to be handled. It explains what each side finds more important as what aspects
they focus on. Tourists demands are taken into consideration, influencing the environmental
decisions these hotels are making.
This article explains what exactly it means to be a responsible tourist. This includes the
requirements in order to ensure a person is being respectful of the environment they are
visiting as well as steps in order to do so. Although most of the information I need I am already
aware of, this article will be most heavily used source due to its broad explanation of my
campaign.
to provide more information on responsible tourism ideas and to provide me with more reasoning
as to why people should listen to my point.
