1, Select an operation object from the upper left pane of the NE Explorer: NE or board;
2, Select a function from the Function Tree. Any folder (branch) in the Function Tree can be
expanded by clicking

1. Click <Create> in the NE
Information Management.
2. Select the NE type from the
Create Topology Object dialog
box and enter the attribute
information of the NE. (Default NE
user of the T2000-LCT: lct; default
password: password. )

1. Click <Configuration> in the NE Information Management.
2. Select Manual Configuration and click Next.
3. The Confirm dialog box is displayed. Click <OK>. The NE Configuration Wizard
dialog box is displayed.
4. Set the NE attributes and click <Next>. The NE panel is displayed.
5. Click <Query Physical Slot> to upload the data to the physical slot from the NE side.
6. After all the boards have been created, click <Next>. Then, click <Finish>

4. Configure the service from the tributary board to the east and west line board. Click <OK>

Management/Topology Management] from the Function Tree. Select the "Local Node
Information" tab

3. Start RPR protocol. Set "RPR Enable" as "Enabled"
4. Set protection parameters, including "Protection mode", "Protection delay (s)",

Manual Synchronization
1, Select [Configuration/NE Time Synchronization] from the Main Menu;
2, Select one or more NEs in the left pane and click the double-right-arrow button;
3, Modify the value of Synchronize Mode to NM.

Functions
1, Select [Configuration/Automatic
Disabling of NE Function] from the Main
Menu.
2, Select the appropriate NE and click the
double-right-arrow button (red). If
loopback or laser shutdown is enabled,
these functions will be displayed.
3, Keep the default status of auto disabling
unchanged and modify the value of "Auto
Disabling Time".
4, Click <Apply>.

Troubleshooting
Loopback SDH/PDH/Ethernet interface and VC4/VC3 path
1.In the NE Explorer, select a board and select [Configuration/SDH Interface] from the Function
Tree. Click the double-right-arrow button (red) .
2, Select By function. Select Optical/Electrical Interface Loopback
3, Select the loopback mode and click <Apply>, then Click <OK>. The Operation Result dialog
box is displayed and indicates operation succeeded. Click <Close>

1, If you want to make a loopback for PDH/Ethernet or other interface, you can select
[Configuration/PDH Interface] or Interface Management/Ethernet Interface Loopback]
2, If you want to make a loopback for VC4/VC3 path, in the above figure, you can select
Select By function. Select VC4/VC3 loopback
