Pre-Test Criterion

Option 1: Scores marking a need for students to be fully retaught the material
at a later date, if not possible to do so before Authentic Assessment
assignments are submitted

o If a majority of students (any amount over 50%, approximately 25 of


total class size of 50) receives any lower that a 5/10 on any standards
set of questions, that standard will be specifically targeted as soon as
possible
o If a noticeable amount of students (any amount over 10% but less
than 50% of total class size) receives less than 5/10 on a standards
set of questions, that standard will be specifically retaught at a later
point in time
Option 2: Scores marking a need for students to be reminded of the material
o If a noticeable amount of students (any amount over 10% but less
than 50% of total class size of 50) receives less than 7/10 on a
standards set of questions, a mini-lesson will be provided to remind
students of that standard
o A formative assessment will be administered to track effectiveness of
the mini-lesson, if need be (majority of class is still receiving less than
7/10), more time can be spent on that specific subject
Option 3: Scores marking no need for students to be reminded of or fully retaught material
o If the majority of the classroom (any amount over 80% of total class
size) receives greater than or equal to 9/10 on a standards set of
questions, no time will be spent re-teaching that section
o The exception to this would be if the remaining 20% of the classroom
performed as described in first option, with all of that 20% of students
receiving anything lower than 5/10 on a specific standard
o If the majority of the classroom (any amount greater than 50%)
receives greater than or equal to 7/10 on a standards set of
questions, only a small portion of time will be spent reminding
students of the standard and its aspects
o No matter what, all standards will be used throughout the course of
the unit as is applicable, but specific time will not be set aside for it to
be re-taught or solely focused uponstandards will be reminded
continually
