Teachers who are in Tier 2 or Tier 3 are also eligible for $0.25 hourly wage increases based on having
met the following YoungStar requirements:

WMELS
Social Emotional/WI Pyramid Model/Inclusion Training
o 3 cr. Inclusion training
o WI Pyramid Model for Social and Emotional Compentence Infant Toddler and Preschool
Modules (24hrs)
o 15 or more hrs of training in Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports
o 15 or more hrs of training in Guiding Childrens Behaviors in School-Age Care
o 12 or more hrs of training in Tribes TLC
o 15 or more hrs of YoungStar approved non-credit training on inclusive practices
Strengthening Families/Child Protective Services Abuse and Neglect Training

Administrative Staff is based on salary. To calculate their weekly salary, we take their hourly wage and
multiply it by 45hrs.

Benefits for Innovation Station Child Care


Benefits are available for full-time employees. Teachers must be in full-time standing as of December
31st each year to be full-time eligible for the following year.
Vacation Accrues at one year anniversary and January 1st, thereafter.
Sick Four hours per month is accrued after the 60 day probationary period.
Insurance Available for purchase the first of the month after the 60 day probationary period. These
rates are the equivalent of 1/3 of the total cost and subject to change based on the rates we pay for
insurance.

Retirement Available after the first 60 day probationary period. Innovation Station will match the
employee contribution up to 3% in our simple IRA.
Continuing Education Innovation Station encourages teachers to use the T.E.A.C.H. program to
continue their education. We also support teachers in continuing education by providing in-house
CPR/First Aid courses for half price. We reimburse 50% of the cost of WMELS training.
Child Care Benefit All employees may participate in this benefit during their scheduled hours. Children
under the age of the 2 years old will receive half off the cost. Children over the age of 2 are free. This is
only a benefit for when employees are working. Staff children may attend on their parents off time
with payment.
