Children and technology
Education is very important to every person because we need it to get
stronger. Technology devices would help with reading, math, and memory skills.
These devices wouldnt just be for school anyone could have it in their home.
Children use technology for many different reasons like to listen to music, going
on the internet, and playing video games.
Most people like music, and because we all like it so much it is constantly
on for children to hear. Rajan says Subsequently, even though accessibility to
media devices has increased in home and leisure settings, the availability of these
devices in schools remains challenging due to the cost of purchasing enough
products for individual student use. The different media devices help children
express themselves without having to say it, for instance they can draw a picture
and as the saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words. The picture doesnt
always have to be a picture it could be them just playing around with different
instruments on the device and them creating music. That one time of them creating
music could inspire them to create more or help express themselves in a different
and creative way. As for the content presented, educational software must be
open and invite exploration in order to increase the childs creativity as well as
enhance motivation, commitment and curiosity Says Agudo.
Johnson says All trends indicate that the number of children accessing the
internet and the amount of time they spend online are steadily increasing. This
information can mean many different things they could be spending this time doing
school work. This could mean they are playing games or using different social

media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram etc. The internet is helping
children explore and learn new facts about subjects that they didnt know about
before. It is helping them be more creative because they can go on and think and
do something different that nobody has though of before. Children are very
curious and adventurous because they dont know everything yet, this makes them
think and do very creative things.
Children are like sponges they absorb information very well and also very
fast. The information can be anything like how to better themselves in a video
game. Some games like Tetris is a problem solving game, what you have to do to
make sure you complete the level the fastest way possible. Video games makes
sure that children are constantly thinking about what the player should do and are
thinking of all the different ways to do it ("Reasons for kids to play video games.").
These games help sharpen childrens problem solving, memory, fine motor skills,
and hand-eye coordination. All of these abilities will help children in the future
and not all games have violence in them. Since the video games help sharpen their
skills this will help them with education and sports. Video games have major
impacts on a persons visual skills because a game can distort its visual but the
player can still figure out the game (Green). When children are doing sports they
interact with more children who are probably doing the same video games and now
they can play the video games together and have more fun.
Technology is used by most people, and that is why children need to start
learning how to use it early. Technology devices would help with reading, math,
and memory skills. These devices wouldnt just be for playing games but also
educational work. Children use technology for many different reasons like to
listen to music, going on the internet, and playing video games.
