I was in my back
yard trying to launch a
kite.
I threw the kite
up in the air, the wind
would catch it for a few
seconds, then it would
come crashing back
down to earth.
I tried this a few
more times with no
success.

All the while, my ol
lady is watching from
the kitchen window,
muttering to herself how
men need to be told how
to do everything.
She
opens
the
window and yells to me,
You need a piece of
tail!
I turned with a
confused look on my
face and said, Make up
your mind, woman! Last
night, you told me to go
fly a kite!

Two weeks before the NFL Draft, the Tennessee

Titans have pulled off a historic trade aimed to bolster
the roster and better the team for years to come.

The Titans have agreed to trade the No.1 pick of the
draft to the Los Angeles Rams for the 15th overall pick in
this years draft, two second-round picks (43 and 45), and
a third-rounder (76) in 2016. The Titans will also receive
the Rams first-round pick in 2017, along with their thirdround pick in next years draft.
In addition to Tennessees No.1 pick this year, the
Rams will also receive a fourth-round pick (113) and
sixth-round pick (177) in 2016.

The Rams move toward becoming the first team on
the clock once the draft commences on April 28 could
be a sign just how desperate the franchise is for a new
quarterback. The Cleveland Browns, who hold the No. 2
overall selection, also have major hole to fill at the position.
Although UCLA quarterback Jared Goff is heavily
in the mix for the Rams, Wayne, our Warden Paper guy
from Great Falls (and a hardcore Minnesota Vikings fan),
is thinking the Rams are targeting North Dakota States
Carson Wentz.

Wentz, who redshirted his freshaman year, became
the Bison official starting quarterback during his junior
year in 2014, guiding the Bison to their fourth straight
national title. He started all 16 games in 2014, completing
228 of 358 passes for 3,111 yards with 25 touchdowns
and 10 interceptions. Wentz was also the second leading
rusher for North Dakota State after finishing the season
with 642 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

As a fifth-year senior, he had one of the best games of
his career on October 10, 2015, against UNI. He finished
the game with a career-high 335 passing yards. The
following week against South Dakota, Wentz suffered a
broken wrist in the first half but managed to complete the
game with 16 of 28 completions, 195 passing yards, and 2
touchdown passes as the Bison lost 24-21. After starting the
first six games of the season and completing 63.7 percent
of his passes for a total of 1,454 yards, and 16 touchdowns,
he would go on to miss the next 8 weeks of the season.
After sitting out 8 games, he returned to practice in the
beginning of December and was cleared to play in the
National Championship. On January 9, 2016, Wentz led
NDSU to its fifth straight FCS National Championship,
running for two touchdowns and throwing for a third.
He was named the NCAA Division I-AA Championship
Game Most Outstanding Player for the second straight
year.

Call Center has expanded hours through Monday

The Montana Department of Revenue
is offering expanded hours at its call center
to assist taxpayers during the days before
the April 18 deadline for filing income tax
returns.

Taxpayers who need assistance can call
the departments call center toll free at (866)
859-2254, or in Helena at 444-6900. The call
center will has extended hours during the
last days of tax season. Beginning today and
Friday, April 14 and 15, help will be available
from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m .; on Saturday, April
16, hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m .; and
Monday, April 18, hours will be 7 a.m. until
8 p.m.
The department strongly encourages
taxpayers to file their taxes electronically.
It takes a great deal of time, resources
and taxpayer money for the department
to process paper returns, says Revenue
Director Mike Kadas. But when people
e-file their returns, we have those returns in
our system automatically, which equates to
saving time and money. Plus, taxpayers get
their refunds much sooner than if they filed
by paper.

Taxpayers can file electronically using
the departments e-filing service, Taxpayer
Access Point (TAP), or one of many
commercial e-filing products including

MontanaFreeFile.org. For all electronic filing

and payment options, visit revenue.mt.gov
and click Online Services.

Some refunds are taking longer this year
due to extra security and review procedures
following an increase in fraudulent tax
return filings. Since this tax season opened
on January 19, the department has blocked
273 fraudulent returns totaling $345,095.

To check the status of their refunds,
taxpayers can go online to the Department
of Revenue website at revenue.mt.gov/
onlineservices/wheres-my-refund
and
read the Wheres My Refund FAQs. These
questions and answers help taxpayers check
the status of their refunds on Taxpayer
Access Point.
mt.gov.

April 15 is the deadline for submitting
an application for various tax relief options.
The Property Tax Assistance (PTAP) and
the Montana Disabled Veteran Property
Tax Relief (MDV) programs can give
property tax relief to qualifying low-income
homeowners. April 18 is the deadline for
the 2EC, an income tax credit for elderly
homeowners and renters. Information and
applications are available online at revenue.
