War and Religion in Paris

ISIS is a group apart of an Islamic State who has been harming others to enforce their
traditions. They control parts in Syria. ISIS members are willing to risk their own lives to get rid
of a person or purpose. ISIS has attacked Americans and their own people in Syria. About
300,000 have fled into Turkey in 2014. Now Paris, France has been attacked by them at concerts
murdering many people. Some even being American. Mass shooting happened at three different
places on Friday, November 13, 2015. Weapons used were a rifles, bombs, and suicide attacks.
Because of this terrible event in Paris, 129 people are dead and 352 people are injured. Hostages
were taken, hit and run killings, and bombing were all techniques to accomplish religion.
War is growing rapidly. It spreads like a wildfire. A person can cause a war from simply
offending someone. In this case ISIS started an issue, by killing the people in Paris at the
concerts. France then starts and declares war. War is an effective tool if you want to end the
situation, by murdering and hurting.
The eiffel tower, I build out of popsicle sticks and hot glue gun represents the people who
got shot and killed in the attacks from ISIS. That very night the lights went off, in honor of the
people who have passed away. This is the center monument, just like in the United States. We
have the Statue of Liberty, which originally was given to us by France. On November 20, 2015,
the tower, was illuminated in red, white, and blue.
The five references I have decided to relate my project are:
The Vietnam Wall

The people crying of lost loved ones.

The event happening out of nowhere.

I have seen it. And I like it: The magic, The way like cutting onions. It brings
water out of nowhere...And everything I expect has been taken away like that,
quick.
The Experience of War

War has a great hold on the psyche of human beings. Without war, we might ask
ourselves, where is patriotism, where is freedom, where are all the ideals our
ancestors have fought for throughout the centuries? Our religions often justify it
to preserve the world for their ideals. Our power, sense of importance, and own
self- preservation may often seem it make it necessary.

...Primordial instincts to kill without feeling, without passion, without

judgement. Because its judgement that defeats us.

If ISIS knew us individually would they still do what they do?

The Rise of ISIS,

Victory is close, God willing & We sacrifice of lives and our blood for Iraq
The ISIS faith believes that Gods punishment is far worse, than if you don't kill
the nonbelievers. said in Quran (2:191-193) & Quran (3:56)
The Dhammapada

1. Dichotomies: All experience is preceded by mind, Led by mind, Made by

mind. Speak or act with a corrupted mind, and suffering follows as the wagon
wheel follows the hoof of the ox.Speak or act with a peaceful mind. And
happiness follows Like a never-departing shallow.

This quote talks about Karma, and not only that by the suffering that comes to the
people of the suffering that has passed.
Why we love War and what we can do to prevent it anyway,

War at least promises to fulfill some fundamental human need or tension. One
central human tension is the problem of how to be both an individual and a part of
the a larger group. On one hand is the drive to be more and more unique and
individual, to heighten ones experience and being. On the other hand is the drive
to be a part of something larger, a full- fledged member of the tribe.

This is a reason why ISIS does what it does. To be completely committed to

Allah.
