For the complex piping system shown in Fig. 1, use the Hazen-Williams friction formula with
coefficient C = 130. The useful input power of the pump is 40.4 KW.
Problem 2
For the looping network shown in Fig. 2, use Darcy-Weisbach relation for friction losses with an
absolute roughness of 0.15mm for all pipes and a kinematic viscosity of 10-6 m2/s.
