Theme: Thankfulness of Gods Deeds
Reading: Psalm 40:5-6 (NABRE) Blessed the man who sets his security in the Lord, who turns
not to the arrogant or to those who stray after falsehood. You, yes you, O Lord, my God, have
done many wondrous deeds! And in your plans for us there is none to equal you. Should I wish
to declare or tell them, too many are they to recount.
Reflection: Every day, as we part take in our busy lives, we forget about God and what he has
done for us. This passage helps to reflect and appreciate everything He has done for us as well as
realize that his deeds are numerous and too many to count. We must realize that all God wants is
to help us, but we have to put our faith in Him for us to fully receive His love. If we put our faith
in God, He will bless us abundantly. For example, priests, nuns, and others devoted to God are
overjoyed with His love, and with that, they are able to give love to others. We can receive his
blessings if we appreciate Him as well as put our faith in Him.
Prayer:
Dear God,
Help me to appreciate the works that you do and what others do for me.
Help me to bestow all my faith in you.

Allow me to accept your love and works.

Be there for me and help me when I am struggling.
Help me to overcome all of my insecurities, as well as, all of my problems.
Help me, help me God in all aspects of my life.
Amen.
