Purpose:
Thepurposeofthislabwastoseehowdifferentdensitiesofliquidswouldlayer.

Procedure:
1. Forthislab,ascale,a100mLgraduatedcylinder,a25mLgraduated
cylinder,andanErlenMyerflaskwereused.
2. First,theweighpaperwasweighedonascale,anditsweightwasrecorded.
Theweightcametobe0.2grams.
3. Sevengramsofsaltwasweighedonascaleforthebluesolution.Then,.2
gramsconsistingoftheweighpaperwassubtractedfromthe7gramsofsalt.
Thefinalweightcametobe6.8grams.
4. Inadryandclean25mLgraduatedcylinder,20mLofwaterwasmeasured,
andpouredintoanErlenMeyerflask.
5. OnedropofbluefoodcoloringwasthenaddedintotheErlenMeyerflask
filledwith20mLwater.
6. Then,6.8gramsofsaltwasaddedtothebluesolution.
7. Thesaltwasthenstirreduntilitdissolved.
8. Thebluesolutionwaspouredintoa100mLgraduatedcylinder.
9. TheErlenMeyerflaskwasrinsedout.
