Game Zone Proposal

Purpose: The purpose of the game zone is to get kids to open up,
connect, improve thinking skills, and have a positive outlet during
lunch.

Student Leaders: 5th and 6th grade student leaders in tracks A, B, and D
will be responsible for the game zone in April, tracks A, B, C in May,
and tracks B, C and D in June.

Proposed Plan:
-4 to 5 student leaders will be at the game zone
- Each game will have a checklist of the pieces and student leaders will
insure that all games are put back nicely and completely
- Game zone will be from 12:10 to 12:45
- If students are arguing student leaders will help them problem solve.
If student leaders have a conflict they will seek help from Mr. Barnes or
a noon supervisor.
- Games will be checked in and out from Mr. Barnes office
- Student leaders will learn the rules and how to play each game
- Game zone will be daily out at the lunch benches
