TTT HORSE TRAILS 14th & 15th May 2016

Is coming up quickly - if your interested in entering
- please let joy or annette know asap. This will be
one of the closest TTT events we have as it is being
held at Oxley. For those new to this - the HRCAV
holds Top Teams events in all disciplines annually.
Each competitor enters as part of a team of 4 - whos
individual scores are combined into a team effort. Its
a way of keeping the compettion fun and supportive.
Visit HRCAVs web site for all the info and program. If
you think you would like to enter you do need to have
grading card for Horse Trails.

FEB LOU & JAMIE on for Arena Harrowing - it

is condition of our membership that each member is
rostered on once during the year to harrow - if you cant
do your turn; please arrange someone else to do it for
you - if your not sure how to go about it - please ask.

FEB RALLY / SUN 14th: Andrew Simms. Fully

booked but fence sitters are welcome. Bring a chair and
lunch if you like. If you are not booked in for the clinic
you are still more than welcome to come along to ride.

March rally - Sunday 13th March. Trail ride lead

by Sabine and Jennie G Up over Mt. Buffalo
from Harris Lane. Lunch at the gatehouse parking
area. Pack your lunch and water. Horses should be
shod or booted as ground is a bit rocky. Terrain is hilly,
so horse should be a bit fit, but plenty of room along
the track. Depending on who would like to go and their
horses, we can return the same way or do a big loop
and return via the road verge and stop at Punkah Pantry
for a coffee along the way. Please let Jennie G know
if you would like to come along, and what you would
prefer. Plenty of spots where riders can walk trot or
canter at their pace without disturbing other horses and
riders. Water for the horses is along the way.

For a future weekend ride - we are considering

a two night trip up to Helen Packers Horse-riding
Property - The Willows at Anglers Rest. Cost would
be approximately$150 - $200. Take your own horse
or hire one of the school horses. We would be guided
on two long rides through the bush, and stay in the
accommodation there for B&B - looking for a date that
would work at the moment, perhaps later in the year.
Please send your expressions of interest to Jennie G.

ALPINE EQUINE EXTRAVAGANZA - For those that have heard that the date for the Alpine Equine Extravaganza

(AEE) date might have to be moved due to Myrtleford Show being on the same weekend. We cannot move the
date as the weekend before has already been set in place for a CT for Bright Pony Club, therefore the grounds
will not be available for us to move the date. Hence our dates for that are locked in for the AEE are from
Friday afternoon 21st October thru to Sunday 23rd October. If members could please keep these dates free
to assist over this time. All proceeds will be going towards our proposed new storage shed. It will be a busy and
fun weekend, talking and doing all things horsey. We are still open to trade stall opperators and other relevent
people - so if you know anyone who would like to be involved - please let Jennie Gilliver know.
