Objective
My objective is to work in an environmental establishment, which provides more avenues
in the fields of environmental studies where I can apply my gained knowledge as well as
build in experience while performing duties in order to positively direct my future career
choices.

Environmental Skills

Familiar with the Species at Risk Act (SARA) and examined wildlife Act for
woodland Caribou in MB and also examined the effects of the development in
Boreal forest

Conducted in depth studies of Environmental Responsibility and laws long


through University Studies the legislation that guide resource development to
appreciate at the provincial and federal levels.

Study of biology examined the relationship between organisms and the


environment. Clearly stating out the activities on the ecosystem and how things
relate to one another

Successfully completed studies of the Native people of Canada to acquire


knowledge of the rights of the Indigenous peoples in Canada.

Successfully completed the in depth study of Analytical Statistics which I gained


knowledge in classifying data sets, testing data sets and calculating various data
sets, and also gained a good mathematical skill from the completion of Calculus

Study of Quantitative Research Methods in Geography enables me to make


hypothesis, test hypothesis and calculate information from a given sample or
population

Completion of environmental law and policy enlightened my knowledge on the


water quality policies as well as policies guiding the environment. In this course I
carried out a project which I had to create an hypothetical company thats I was
recently employed in and which would face some environmental issues and
discuss on ways to mitigate and avoid going against the environmental
legislations and also ways to prevent harm and hazards in a working place.

Field readiness

Able to work in the field and assist with the movement of materials and lifting of
large and heavy materials to various locations.

Ability to carry out research and analyze given environmental materials

I have a valid class 5 drivers license, which enables me to move vehicles around if
needed in the field.

Trained in CPR and First aid Emergency and holds a valid license and I have full
knowledge on safety first in the field.

I attended the Wild Turkey in Manitoba event that gave me knowledge on how the
migration of turkeys to Manitoba began and various ways for carrying out census
in the field to get their population presently in the field.

Knowledge from the bird nests event, which successfully classified the types of
nest birds make and the materials that they are made out of.

I successfully carried out a research on rock types and how to identify them while
in Nigeria in geographical location where I had to effectively read and understand
maps and also ensure that every activity was safe before performing it.
