Hook(Story From a War)

Authority(9/11 and Other War Documents)
9/11 and every article printed
Side One of The Argument
i.
Main Point 1(9/11)
1. Supporting Evidence 1: American
11 and United 175. Atta and Omari boarded 6:00 am flight from
Portland to Bostons Logan International Airport. Atta and Omari
arrived in Boston. Seven minutes later, Atta had taken a call from
Marwan al Shehhi, a longtime colleague who was at another
terminal at Logan Airport. They spoke for three minutes. It would
be their final conversation.(NCTA 1)
2. Supporting Evidence 2 Al- Qaeda
had planned 9/11 since 1979, 22 years before the attack on the
Twin Towers.

ii.

Main Point 2(Article 1)

1. Supporting Evidence 1: Poverty is
one such threat that Pope Francis challenges [people] to take care
of the poor, and had declared his desire that the Catholic Church be
a church of the poor and for the poor. To meet this challenge,
[they] can ask [themselves] how will what [they] do today help
the poor?
2. Supporting Evidence 2: Love for
others and respect for their rights and their human dignity,
irrespective of who or what they are, no matter what religion-or
none- that they choose to follow, will bring about real change and
set in motion proper relationships. With such relationships built on
equality and trust, [people] can work together on so many of the
threats to [their] common humanity.
3. Supporting Evidence 3
iii.
Main Point 3(Article 2)
1. The Islamic state must be stopped-that is
certain- but the most just way to achieve [the] goal is not certain.
Bombing and invading Syria will certainly kill Islamic State fighters, but
it will also kill Islamic state civilians.

2. The islamic state has just as much

hate for the United States as the U.S has for Germany.
Legitimately what must be done is create a peace offer and try to
negotiate. This is no easy task but it is what is right.
3. Equal forms of power do not exist.
As there are several people and several countries who are weak
and strong theyre still looked upon as an equal country, why not

think of that before 9/11? Because Al-Qaeda was smart, they saw
the most effective way to hurt the U.S. in a way they could never
see coming.
b. Side Two of The Argument
i.
Main Point 1 (Article 3)
1. Its about time to end the Islamic
State, The people of the United States are panicking over a small
threat that can easily be obliterated. There is no room for talk, Isis
must be wiped out. Permanently.
2. Humanity always faces conflict,
thats what makes humans, humans. But now that Isis is growing
an effort must be made to end them. Peace talks can never get
through to extremists, just end the suffering by ending them.
ii.
Main Point 2 (Article 4)
1. Now is the time to take action.
Forget about illegal immigration and focus on the real threat, Isis
will kill everything and everyone if the people dont do anything
about it.
2. Peace is a great thing and every
human life is meaningful everyone knows that. But Isis will never
accept peace, so all the nations should work together to end the
threat to the world before its too late.
3. Finding volunteers to end this threat
is no problem, put a poll on the internet or something every single
country wants to end the threat to the world, but of course peace
wants to win. Open the eyes of the peace talkers to help end the
threat to the United Nations!
iii.
Main Point 3(Article 5)
1. How long should the world sit
around waiting for war to happen, when it could be ended before it
was started? War is easy to cause, increasingly hard to stop, unless
it can be prevented please avoid any unintentional Interactions.
2. Any interactions with terrorism
results in straight insubordination on the current guilty power. If
anyone is to stop this terrorism, The U.S. can.
3. Conclusion
a. In the reports of terrorism and just cold and innocent war. The
people need to think of the future rather than the present. What would happen
without war?
b. Also, if war is a necessary evil, would it eventually destroy
humanity?

*Structure of main points and supporting evidence within the two sides may vary from this
format, though they should be relatively balanced with each other. (Ms. Ingrams Note)
