IMS has 4 versions as folows. ‘Those are; Owner Standard, Owner Enhanced, Machine Room Monior, and Office. This Manual has been prepared for service ‘engineers, in which Office version wil be descivec, Communication Communication between IMS and elevator control. system is ‘made through On-site or Off-site. INS. should be installed ty INS Provider. Your supervisor must have the Est of IMS Provides in your lcal ares. In case of installing tis systam, ‘the password should be entered to operate the concerned program. This password wil be valid for one year only. To ‘access the ‘formation, you should set the actual layout of elevators and PCs configured forthe Job in Control Panel. Such elevator layout Is called "Job Tree”. This button shows the database of component selected in Job Tree. The database can be edted to relect the characteristics ofthe component. ‘Add a Group ... This buton enabies to add one Group in the Control Pane! Job Tree under the selected Network, you have to reflect the elevator contol systam, you can add 8 groupe max. ta each network, ‘A Group consists of car groups connected via cable trough ‘erat communication to respond to common hal cll and ‘other group functions. Once a group is added and highlighted, ‘ight cick wil give another Pul-down. View funcion inthe state of this Pul-down wil show the database for the concerned group. ‘Rad a Car .. Maximum & cars can be added to each Group £0 to apply the elevator system. if you click the right par once 2 car has been adled end highghted, Pulldown will appear. Selow ‘is Pul-onn, View wil enable to soe the database of car, and Delete wl delete one car concerned. ‘Add a PC ... Through this button, PC can be added to the Job Tree below the highighted Network. A PC on the Network is defined as Servers or Caen. ‘Server communicates crecy with the elevator trough direct ‘connection or through modem. A Server takes the role of ‘gateway tothe contol system of elevator. A Client is used for communication wih the G/L contl system by ‘communicating wih the Server through LAN. Delete .. This button enables to delete the tem in the Contrl Pane. ‘i you press Delete button, the concerned item and the par. below such tem wil be deleted, Fer example, when Group is highightea, you press Delete buon, tis Group wil be deleted together with the cars which were in it! However, Network will not be delete. “Thote are following 3 buttons across the top of Control Panel: PERU tecannotbe recovered after deletion. Connect ..This button connects IMS tothe concerned Job in the ofsite configuration, ELAN (PC of Control Panel should be highlighted) is connected, connection with the contol system can be ‘made through Modem, Server PC or Cient PC. See Figure 16, It enables the report of Group Servzes. Each Delay Timer and Priory are given to each group. Delay Timer .. shows the full time up to second unit that should be informed before the event is recorded. There are three Senice Timer Levels, and the user can select one of them. If te selected one of those three levels isnot matched vith the demand, you can use “Custom”. To change the time satting, cavble-clck the grid, Seting the Delay timer at 0 actually makes the event useass. Priorities... There are Low, Mid, and High, Each Senvice vant should be fi to one ofthese priors. “Low” is default value, When the Events arive, IMS can operate in many ‘ways through the Prt, Group Service ..
