Student Learning Goals (List desired learning goals, and your plans to meet them, for the next clinical
experience. Goals should be based on identified performance issues and the desire for new knowledge and
experiences.)
Better knowledge of commonly used medications and common side effects.
Improve teaching skills to patients about medications and plan of care
Improve prioritization of care-assess patient and then make a list of what care is a prioritization for the patient
that day.
Faculty Comments/ Student Learning Goals (**If an item was identified as N or U, narrative comments are
necessary to clarify student performance**)
Kerri, I think you demonstrated a strong understanding of the patients needs each week and of the treatment
plan. You were able to talk through and then act on priorities appropriately. Definitely continue to work on
building medication knowledge, though you showed you know how to be resourceful and deliver medications
safely while in clinical with me. You also work very independently and come across as a confident nurse to
your patients. Good luck going forward!
