The OC1129 oxygen/nitrogen concentrator performs the functions of two separate systems. First, it supplies
oxygen-enriched air for aircrew breathing and second, it supplies inert gas to the fuel tanks to protect the aircraft
from fuel tank explosion and fire. Originally designed for the V-22 Osprey Tilt-Rotor Aircraft.
Features:
Incorporates the Life Support rapid-cycle pressure-swing-adsorption concept using molecular sieve filled beds to
generate both oxygen and inert gas on board the aircraft.
Combines the technology of OBOGS and OBIGGS systems with common processing of a single air supply to
provide a system with fewer parts, lower weight and higher reliability than separate units.
Built-in-test, Arinc 429-7 compatible, Fault isolation to 95% per MIL-STD 2084 and 1390.
