ISSE is unique, among the systems oriented institutions having the objective of bringing together scholars and practitioners from academic, business and R&D organisations for promoting the system concepts. The society was started in 2010 at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), with its Headquarters at Thiruvananthapuram. ISSE, Srihariko- ta-Chennai Chapter was inaugurated on 29" December 2015 by Sri, AS. Kirankumar, Chairman, ISRO. FEENGEZIE. conference aims to bring together the expertise in system engineering concepts practiced in various fields including scientific institutions, industries and academia. The conference helps in disseminating knowledge pertaining to systems theory & applications in the large scale mult-disciplinary projects of national importance. in all the fields like space, ocean, defence, environment, computer, energy & infrastructure systems, ited Talks by Eminent Speakers " ims to emphasis more on invited talks by eminent personalities of national prominence. Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR js the spaceport of india, SDSC has state-of-the-art tacilities tor produc- ing heavier class solid propellant rocket boosters and facilities for testing their_flightworthiness. There are two operational Launch Pads, viz., the First Launch Pad (FLP) and the Second Launch Pad (SLP), equipped with integration, liquid storage and servicing facilities. Mission Control Centre & Launch Control Centre are equipped with sophisticated instrumenta- tion, tracking and real time display facilities. All the Launch Vehicles of ISRO are being launched from. Sriharikota. Venue & Accommodation Conference venue is Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota, a tropical island surrounded by the picturesque Pulicat lake bird sanotu- ary terminating to the Bay of Bengal. This is a beautiful spindle shaped island with long coastline enriched with, flora and fauna. Sriharikota is famous for rare varieties of herbal plants. The ecology is well maintained to keep. the nature flourishing, There are quite a good number of scenic spots for visitors inside the island. To reach SDSC SHAR, Sullurupeta is the nearest railway station, which is around 83 km from Chennai. ‘Accommodation will be provided for all the delegates & ‘quests at SDSC SHAR guest house. Though weather in SHAR during the month of June will be tropical, onset of early sea breeze will make it pleasant. Sriharikota can be reached from Chennai & Tirupathi Airports and is, well connected by road and rail.
