I have always been interested in clay for as long as I can remember.

The way
clay comes from the earth. The way you could squish it, feel it, and allow it to
form into whatever you choose, always allowed me to escape somewhere
else. But then again, I am interested in everything, every experience.

My art revolves around the experiences that have formed me as a distinctive

individual. Just like experiences form me, I can form art of all mediums. I
have control of my material and can decide wherever it will go; I can create
an escape from wherever that may be. Many experiences in my life revolve
around the outside natural world that has shaped me to be me. Growing up
on the water has not only inspired me but also taught me water has the
ability to just keep moving no matter what has crossed upon it. No matter
how many steps you take or miles youll travel, life is always implausibly
large. Art has the possibility to be like life and water, to take immensities of
any form, shape, color, or structure, and just keep moving.

Structure in my life is created from creating, and the science of creative

thinking. Why people make decisions and where the influences for those
decisions come from: life.

I like to create space through the miniature and the monumental. Involving
negative space and different dimensions to create illusions, tones, and
feelings that evoke the senses derived from nature. Creating space is innate

to me; art is not just the experience of life for me but what life is about.
Virtuosity stops life from moving too fast; freezing my incomparable,
irreplaceable memories and moments in time.
