    Everychild,everyteacher,everyfamilydeservesthebestpossibleeducationpossible.Thisisthe
    philosophywithwhichImakedecisionsandlead.Toonlysaythateverychildandfamilydeservethebestis
    tounderutilizethepartnershipthattransformslearningwhentheteacherhasfullfamilyandadministrative
    support.ThisispartoftheuniqueskillsetIwillbringtoXYZMiddleSchool.

    Myexperienceisbroadanddeep.Asmyresumeshows,Ihavehadavarietyofteachingexperiencesin
    SouthernCaliforniaandHumboldtCountythatwillenhancemyworkwithstaffandfamiliesofXYZMiddle
    School.Ihavehadthepleasureofworkingunder10differentadministrators,eachwiththeirownstrengths
    andchallenges.Ihaveservedinaffluentandverypoorpopulations.IhavebeenaleaderinseveralParent
    TeacherAssociations(PTA)andhavebeeninstrumentalinfosteringaccordandunderstandingbetweenthe
    parent/familycommunityandtheschoolcommunity.InmycurrentroleattheHumboldtCountyOfficeof
    Education,Ihaveworkedwithmostoftheprincipalsandsuperintendentsinthecountyandmanyteachers.I
    havefacilitatedprofessionaldevelopmentforTK12thgradeteachersandunderstandthesuccessof
    studentsarebornoftwoelements:theteacherstudentrelationshipandcontentknowledge.

    InmyTier1training,IhadthegoodfortunetobeguidedbyDr.KennyRichardsoftheHumboldtState
    UniversityEducationalLeadershipProgram,myuniversitysupervisorStephenKelish,andmysite
    supervisorsJanSchmidtandRonPerry.WhatisparticularlyfortuitousaboutmyworkatZaneMiddle
    SchoolislearningPBISandRestorativeJusticepracticesinanadministrativecapacity.Iwasinvitedto
    observetheECSCurriculumcommittee,StakeholderCommitteeandSchoolSiteCouncil.Ihavebeen
    exposedtothesitebudgetandteacherevaluationprocesses.ThesecondsemesterofmyTier1training
    wasunderCherylInghamstutelage.Thisaffordedmetheabilitytolearnexactlywhatschoolsanddistricts
    needandwhoatthecountylevelofferssupportinthosearenas.

    Havingworkinginartsintegrationandartsdiscretedisciplinesinthecounty,regionandstate,Iampoisedto
    makeadifferenceatXYZMiddleSchool,MyexperiencewiththeEarlyLiteracyPartners,bridging
    communityvolunteers,HumboldtStateUniversityEducationalFieldworkandteachers,isyetanother
    exampleofmyuniqueskillset.Ofallmyexperiences,myfavoritestudentgroupisatthemiddleschool
    level.Thestudentsaredevelopmentallyreadytobeginmakingchoicesabouttheirfuture.Iwanttobethere
    toshapethejourney.
